About Us

Southern Shore x Goulds Basketball is a youth basketball association is the partnership of two programs (1) Southern Shore Youth Basketball and (2) Goulds Youth Basketball.

Athletes in Middle Pond, Goulds, Bay Bulls, Witless Bay, Mobile, Tors Cove, Burnt Cove, Bauline, Cape Broyle, Calvert, Ferryland, Aquaforte, Fermeuse, Port Kerwin, Kingmans Cove, Renews, Cappahayden and Trepassey are welcomed to our program.

Our Goal: The goal of our program is to grow a strong basketball community in the Southern Shore and Goulds regions of Newfoundland. For the last few years, players have had to drive 30-40 minutes to the city to play in a club basketball program, or represent a team from the city. Going forward, that will not be the case. Our staff and program is committed to growing the basketball community HERE in Southern Shore and the Goulds.

Our Program: Our program will be offered to boys and girls from Pre K - Grade 10. Our Pre K/ Grade 1 group will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball while having fun. Our older groups will learn the appropriate basketball skills for their age by our trained NCCP coaching staff, and compete in games, leagues, and tournaments against other teams from Newfoundland.

Our Divisions: Pre K/ Grade 1 Co-Ed, Grade 2/4 Boys, Grade 2/4 Girls. Grade 5/6 Boys, Grade 5/6 Girls, Grade 7/8 Boys, Grade 7/8 Girls, Grade 9/10 Boys, Grade 9/10 Girls.
